Vivid Memories II

Project in development in which I experiment with the vibration of different glass and ceramic objects and the sound patterns that are created when placed on the strings of a piano harp.
Throughout my childhood I have played the piano, and for years my biggest dream was to dedicate myself professionally to music. As I got closer to that dream, the technical requirements and the hard hours of repetitive study in preparation for conservatory exams created a love-hate relationship with the instrument. I felt less and less creative and when I started Fine Arts I abandoned it for good. The piano has followed me in all my moves, closed and silent, like a punished friend. With this project I open it again, discovering its entrails to turn it into a new instrument where my ceramic and glass pieces are the ones that make it vibrate.
